Inspired by the connected neighbourhood of Paya Lebar, RAMUS responded to the brief by designing Songket, six luminous artworks that wrap around three food kiosks in this communal area.

Each façade is embedded with LED strips arranged in the form of Songket, a geometric pattern belonging to textiles of the Malay. At the centre of each pattern, small, high-res digital panels form focal points within the façade, radiating, vibrant colour combinations that dynamically shift throughout the night. Each kiosk is synced to illuminate with the same visual pattern, creating a harmonious, ambient lighting experience.
